HOSPITAL AND CHURCH/SCHOOL VISIT

Today we arrived at the hospital and met a young man named Robinson.   He was in a motorcycle accident and had damage done to the bone in his leg.  He was unable to walk so they pursued Cure to have surgery to stabilize the bone.  He is currently wearing a brace with pins.  We enjoyed talking to Robinson and his mother who shared their love for the Lord.  We also interacted with other children at the hospital and handed out wooden hearts to remind them that Jesus heals the broken heart.

The team went grocery shopping for peanut butter and jelly, bread, juice, crackers and candy, to make lunches for the children at a local church we visited in the afternoon.

In the afternoon we visited a church and held a VBS.  We played with a parachute, colored art pages, decorated tongue depressor dolls, dance, sang and the children were happy, friendly and loving.

At the end of the day we came home to valentine goodies that Cure made up for us!  Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
